Stephen Mosher

December 15, 1942 ~ September 6, 2022 (age 79) 79 Years Old


   Stephen Mosher, age 79, of Stover passed away Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at his home.
   It was on the 15th day of December in 1942 that Ivan and Ethel (Brown) Mosher welcomed their baby boy, Stephen Ernest, into their home in Corinth, New York.
   Stephen served his country in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He was a hydraulic mechanic during the Vietnam War. He received his honorable discharge in October of 1989.
   In 1994 he received his Associates of Applied Science Degree from SFCC in Sedalia.
   After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at Gates for ten years.
   Stephen liked to ride motorcycles, golf, plant trees, and mow his yard. His greatest enjoyment was his family; especially spending time with his grandkids Madison, Cody also known as George to Stephen, and Josie also known as José.
   Left to carry on Stephen's legacy are his sons, Jason Mosher and wife Ashley of Stover and David Mosher of Illinois; his daughter, Jodee Jackson of Glensfall, New York; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nine brothers; one stepbrother; six sisters; along with many other relatives and friends.
   Along with his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by a grandchild, Steffan Mosher; his sister, Gloria Varnum; and infant sister.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated.
   A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
   The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
