Linda Karen Griffing, 74, of Florence, Missouri went to her heavenly home on July 19, 2023.
Linda was born on November 5, 1948 to Olin and Cora Mahnken on Buffalo Road in Florence, Missouri.
After graduating in 1966 from Stover High School, Linda went on to work at Tipton Pants Factory for 10 years until it closed, then worked for Orvis Gokey for 10 years until her line shut down, and then proudly retired from Stover Quality Quilting after nearly twenty years.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, William Griffing, of 37 years; son, Harold Randall and his wife Lois of Stover, son Michael Randall and his wife Wendy of Stover, and daughter, Tonya Spilinek of Grand Island, Nebraska; grandchildren, Steven and Tasha Reiger, Justin Reiger, Eric Reiger, Dakota Randall, Nicole Bullard, Tyler and Sarah Ward, Rachelle Mettenburg, Danica Spilinek and Liam Spilinek; seventeen beloved great grandchildren; and one sister, Delores Nolting.
Linda was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and member of Florence United Methodist Church where she played piano for many years.
Linda loved her family to the fullest and enjoyed capturing and scrapbooking memories. She cherished her sewing projects, mushroom hunting, and fishing for perch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Cora Manken; brothers, Leo and Eugene Mahnken; and daughter, Lori Ann Utterback.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Florence United Methodist Church. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the celebration.
