G. Yvonne Williams

On November 25, 2022, Gwendolyn Yvonne Williams went to be with our Lord.

She was born to David "Dick" Kruse and Verna Maness Kruse on February 17, 1937.

Yvonne enjoyed being outdoors with her family. She would often come to visit her family on Sunday after church. She also enjoyed going to deer camp and going hunting. She shot her first deer at 62 years old, and if she didn't get one she would let her husband know about it for the next 12 months.

She was united in marriage to Homan Williams on May 24, 1956. She and her husband would take trips out to Colorado, Wyoming and down to Branson.

She worked at the Bank of Otterville, Union Savings Bank and then at Third National Bank for 26 years until she retired from there. She also helped clerk several sales with her husband and best friend, Homan.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Homan Williams; son, RD Williams and Vickie Bartlett of Otterville, MO; granddaughter Allyssa and Craig Nau and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Nau of Otterville; and sisters, Dixie Meyer of Otterville and Micky Meyer of Otterville. She was preceded in death by sister, Deloris Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Otterville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Otterville.

Pallbearers will be Robert Meyer, Rick Meyer, Garret Dowdy, Jeff Williams, Craig Nau and Jared Williams.
