Darryl R. Gagnon

Darryl Richard Gagnon, 84, of Tipton, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

He was born June 18, 1938, in Groveton, New Hampshire, son of Albert and Ida (Coty) Gagnon.

He was married to Martha (Albert), who preceded him in death.

Darryl served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1962. He worked for Sedalia Fruit Company and also operated three restaurants over the years.

He enjoyed taking his dogs for walks in the park, lottery tickets, playing poker, and cooking. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Cayli.

Surviving are a daughter, Angie Hughey, of Tipton; four grandchildren, Cayli Hughey, Cody Hughey, Chandra Gagnon, and Corey Gagnon; and two great-grandchildren, Rainey Jo and Jada.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles “Chuck” Gagnon; and a grandson, Colby Gagnon.

No services are planned. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton.
