Catherine A. Turner

Catherine Ann Turner, age 67, of Tipton, MO, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Cathy was born on June 8, 1955, in Boonville, MO a daughter to Harry and Helen Franken.

Cathy was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend to many. Throughout all relationships, Cathy always saw the good in people, was unbelievably kind to people that were in need, and was able to make a lot out of little. Above everything, Cathy was a mom. As a mother, Cathy’s dedication and passion for her children were evident in how she carried out her life. In addition to working multiple jobs at one time, Cathy would somehow find time to keep an immaculate home, bring a contagious laughter to her family, and hold it all together as a single parent. In every thought and action; the purpose would always be for Robert and Andy.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert Turner and Andy Turner, five sisters, Vickie Schroeder, Wanda Thompson, Brenda Patterson, Rita Sterrett, and Lisa Cleveland, and nine grandchildren, Maya Turner, Brody Turner, Beckett Turner, Delaney Turner, Jasper Turner, Jack Turner, Annabella Turner, Reagen Turner, and Harrison Turner.

In addition, she was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Helen Franken.

Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Tipton. Visitation will follow the Rosary until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Robert Turner, Andy Turner, Brody Turner, Jack Turner, Steve Franken, and John Schuster.

Honorary bearers will be Harrison Turner, Beckett Turner and Jasper Turner.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.
