William "Bill" James Silva

William James Silva II, age 34, of Stover, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1983, in Sacramento, California, the older of two sons born to William and Saundria May Richens Silva.

At the age of 12, Bill was injured in an automobile accident that left him a paraplegic.  Following the death of his father, his mother moved him and his younger brother to Stover, where he graduated from Stover High School.

Even though confined to a wheelchair, Bill never let his lack of mobility slow him down. He was enjoyed hunting and target shooting. He also spent many hours on the computer, chatting with friends and playing video games.

Survivors include his brother Marc Silva of Stover; half siblings, William George Silva and wife Gail; Michael Silva and wife Diane; Jamie Jo Espinosa and husband Joe and Timothy Silva all from the state of California; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service was held Saturday, March 10, at the Stover Cemetery.
