Timmy Randall Leach

January 25, 1959 — December 7, 2023

Sedalia

Timmy "Tim" Randall Leach, 64, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on December 7, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born on January 25, 1959, to Harold and Ethel (Bradley) Leach, who preceded him in death.

Tim graduated from Stover High School and spent most of his adult life in Russellville, MO, where he enjoyed working on lawnmowers and taking frequent trips to the casino. His expertise in lawnmower repairs was well-known in the community, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends.

Tim had a deep love for Kansas City Chiefs football and never missed a game. He would often gather with friends and family to cheer on his team, creating lasting memories. In his free time, Tim found peace in nature. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved the peaceful moments spent by the water or in the woods.

However, Tim's greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He adored each and every one of them and treasured the time they spent together. Whether it was attending their school events, playing games, or simply sharing stories, Tim's love for his grandchildren was deep. He was their biggest supporter and always made them feel special and loved.

Tim will be remembered as a hard worker, always dedicated to providing for his family.

Survivors include his two sons, Tim Leach, 2nd (Nika) and Phil Leach; three stepsons, Brandon Blackwell, Ryan Blackwell, and Erik Blackwell; one brother, Herbert Leach; three sisters, Teresa Larkins (Ben), Cynthia Harmon, and Sherry Meier (Marty); brother-in-law, Donnie Smith; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Leach and Denise Leach; and nine grandchildren, Emma Jean Leach, Audrey LeAnn Wittrock, Lylah Lucille Leach, Eli Blackwell, Evvie Blackwell, Fraya Leach, Knox Leach, Braelyn Leach, and Madison Leach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Dori McCray Leach, June Smith, Pauletta Williams, and Rosetta Huffmon; three brothers, John Leach, Kenneth Leach, and Glen Leach; and two brothers-in-law, Gary McCray and Jerry Huffmon.
