Stephanie Nicole Edwards

Stephanie Nicole Edwards, 38, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia following a health battle.

She was born April 29, 1988, in Sedalia, the daughter of Timothy Edwards and Wayne and Julie (Rehmer) Rowles.

Stephanie primarily attended Tipton High School and was a 2006 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She was a hard worker and started working at the age of 15. Over the years, she worked a number of jobs, with long-term employment at Inter-State Studio and Kawasaki Motors.

Stephanie’s life centered around her daughter, Brooke, whom she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed going to street outlaw races and concerts, eating Mexican food, people watching, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. She also loved her dog, Taz.

Stephanie was known for her sense of humor and her lack of a filter. She was vocal, caring, loving, and stubborn, and she often put the needs of others before her own. She was someone who took care of the people she loved and was never afraid to speak her mind.

She is survived by her daughter, Brooke Edwards, of Otterville; her father, Tim Edwards, of Sedalia; her mother and stepfather, Julie and Wayne Rowles, of Syracuse; her sister, Courtney Naylor (Randy Williams), of Tipton; her paternal grandmother, “Granny Annie” Edwards, of Sedalia; a nephew, Max; two nieces, Emma and Charlie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Albert Edwards; maternal grandfather, Garry Heckart; aunt, Tawnya Edwards; step-grandparents, Charles and Marylin Rowles; uncle, Bob Edwards; aunt, Shirley Bowers; and her dog, Audi Mae.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
