Stella M. Huffman

Stella Marie Huffman, 89, of Littleton, CO, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Morningstar Littleton Assisted Living.

She was born August 3, 1934, on a farm in Morgan County, MO, daughter of Herbert and Helen (Taylor) Harms. She went to Smiley School where she met Earl Huffman. She graduated from Stover High School in 1951, then moved to Kansas City and got married. They were married on September 15, 1951.

In 1963, they bought a business in Denver and moved there with their two boys, David and Michael. For 20 years, she worked in the family business. She was always working on arts and crafts and became best known for piecing quilts. Because Parkinson's and arthritis limited her mobility, she spent the last 4 1/2 years in an assisted living facility.

She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, David Huffman and Michael Huffman (Sandra); and a granddaughter, Quinn Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, and a sister, Mildred.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday.

Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.
