Shelly Koppi

Shelly Koppi, age 53, of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

It was the 18th day of August in 1968 when Ross Jr. and Betty (Kunkle) Longstreet welcomed their baby girl, Shelly Mae, into their home in Orlando, Florida.

In October 1996, Shelly married Patrick Koppi in Morgan County. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2000.

Shelly was a hard worker. She liked to play Bingo, but her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies and her fur babies. Shelly was known for always saying, “I love my family.”

Left to carry Shelly’s legacy on is her daughter, Kristin Jones and husband Kyle; her son, Patrick Koppi and wife Karissa; her mother, Betty (Longstreet) Mollett; grandchildren, Avaeh, Aaron, and Kara; her significant other, Mark Odneal; two brothers, Scott Longstreet and wife Cassaundra, and Terry McWilliams; a sister, Becky Kurczewski and husband Keith;  a niece, Kayla Blodgett; a nephew, Kevin Greathouse; a great niece, Isabella; great nephews, Jeremy and Leo all of Versailles; along with many friends and family in and around the state.

In addition to her husband, Patrick, she was preceded in death by her father and three sons, Eric Walsh, Jordon Longstreet, and Joe Odneal.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Versailles Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shelly Koppi Memorial with checks payable to the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home.
