She was born on February 13, 1948, in Boonville, Missouri, a daughter of Jerome and Alfreda (Kempf) Larm.
Selma was a 1966 graduate of Pilot Grove High School. On May 11, 1968, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clear Creek she married William David “Billy” Schupp, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2018.

She enjoyed playing cards with her Wednesday card group and looked forward to the time spent with her friends. Selma also enjoyed canning vegetables from Bill’s garden and making her own salsa. She took great pride in keeping a clean home and was known to follow her two sons and Billy around, making sure everything was picked up and clean after they left a room.
Selma had a beautiful smile that will be remembered by her family and friends. Above all, she loved her grandchildren. Anything that involved her grandchildren was important to her, and she enjoyed every opportunity she had to spend time with them and be involved in their lives.
