Ronald Lee Simmons

Ronald Lee Simmons, age 70 of Bunceton, Missouri, passed away at home Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

One of six children of Harry C. and Clarice C. Simmons, Ronald was born September 26, 1948 in Boonville, Missouri.

Ronald worked in various factories and businesses in the area which included Boben Manufacturing Co., Houston Construction, Proctor Lumber, Toastmaster and Nordyne.

On November 28, 1969, Ronald married Sharon Waters and they have lived their 49 years together in Bunceton, Missouri. The couple was blessed with a son Curtis, who, along with his wife Jessica have provided them with two wonderful grandchildren, Isaac and Karissa.

The outdoors was Ronald's favorite place to be as he truly enjoyed working in his yard and garden. He was especially fond of Ford trucks, Oliver tractors and The St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, he loved his family.

Preceding Ronald Lee Simmons in death were his parents, Harry and Clarice Simmons.

Those surviving Ronald are his wife Sharon of the home; his son Curtis Simmons and his wife Jessica of Versailles, Missouri; grandchildren Isaac and Karissa Simmons of Versailles; brothers Jerry Simmons and wife Gale of Otterville, Missouri and Dennis Simmons of New Franklin, Missouri; sisters Delores Pearson of Vandalia, Missouri, Alice Hendrix and husband Bill of New Franklin, Missouri and Joann Edwards of Sedalia, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Ronald Lee Simmons will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday February 14, 2019 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, Missouri with burial immediately following in the Masonic Cemetery in Bunceton, Missouri. A visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
