Robert Whittle

Robert "Bobby" Ronald Whittle, 68, of Stover, moved to Glory Monday, December 9, 2024, at his home.

Born on June 9, 1956, in Versailles, Bobby was the son of Vinson Whittle and Beverley (Allen) Weaver.

Bobby had a love for the outdoors, which led him to pursue a career as a landscaper in the family business. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding dune buggies, horseback riding, cruising the gravel roads, and spending summers at the creek with his daughters. Above all, his greatest joy in life was his family.

Bobby is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Serrisa and Brian Everhart of Grain Valley, and Arbrey and Willy Komrska of Stover; six grandchildren, Kelsey (Marcus), Kristen, Kaden, Bobbie Jo, Sarah (Macoy), and Synthea; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alice, Tanner, Everleigh, and Mazlyn; and nine siblings, Sharon Cooper, Suzanne Donovan, Lela Srader, Jack Whittle, Jill Edgar, Rabecca Klindworth, Day Weaver, Rhonda Whittle, and Janice Knierim, along with numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy Whittle and Randy Lutjen, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Burial will follow at Big Rock Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
