Robert Allen Myers

Robert Allen Myers “Bonzes” departed this life on April 27, 2017 after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Myers, Sr., his mother Helen Colleen (Shearer) Myers and one grandbaby.

Mr. Myers was retired. He loved spending time with his family and he was an avid motorcycle rider. He was a member of the Midwest Drifters MC and participated in many events to help those less fortunate.

He and his loving wife, Kathy, have been together for more than 40 years. He leaves a son, Michael Myers and friend Andrea Whitney, Stover; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Eddie Gilmore, Stover; a son David Myers, LaCygne, Kansas; a son Terry Myers, Stover; two sisters, Patricia Myers, Kansas City, KS; Connie Myers, Topeka, KS; nine grandchildren; plus a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Chaplin Tony Corado officiating.

Bonzes will take his “last ride” to the Stover Cemetery at a later date. Mike Myers, David Myers, Terry Myers, Sammey Stark, Jack Shelledy, and Scott Phillips will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Robert Myers’ Family.
