Robert J. "Bob" Kuttenkuler

Oct 21, 1954 — Sep 15, 2026

Tipton, MO

Robert Joseph "Bob" Kuttenkuler, 71, of Tipton, passed away, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

Bob was born on October 21, 1954, in Boonville, Missouri, a son of Charles John and Dorothy Lee (Schwickrath) Kuttenkuler. He was a 1972 graduate of Tipton High School and continued his education at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 1976.

Bob spent his life farming and was never afraid of a little hard work or trying something different. Over the years, his farming ventures included raising hogs, cattle, catfish, and Christmas trees. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the WT Float Club. Bob was also active in his community, serving as president of the Moniteau County Pork Producers at one time and as a member of the Tipton Park Board.

Bob was a natural storyteller who could always entertain those around him with a good story, but just as importantly, he genuinely enjoyed sitting down and listening to the stories of others. He never seemed to tire of a good conversation or the opportunity to share a laugh.

In his spare time, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and searching for arrowheads. He was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.

Growing up as one of nine children, Bob learned early in life the importance of family. That devotion to family remained at the center of his life throughout the years. He especially treasured family gatherings and the time he spent surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, celebrating together, or simply enjoying one another's company, those moments with family meant the most to Bob and created memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Scott Kuttenkuler (Mandy) of Arkadelphia, AR, Rick Kuttenkuler (Christina) of Tipton, MO; three brothers, Russ Kuttenkuler (Emily), Mike Kuttenkuler (Fay), Steve Kuttenkuler; four sisters, Janet Bell (Stan), Jean Kuttenkuler Gross (Paul), Brenda Jurgens (Pat), and Donna Garber; seven grandchildren, Cody Kuttenkuler (fiancé, Lexie), Beau Kuttenkuler (Bailey), Dylan Kuttenkuler (fiancé, Haylee), Evan Kuttenkuler, Gabe Kuttenkuler, Emilyn Kuttenkuler, and Layne Flippin (Tiffany); and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Kuttenkuler.
