Robert Stafford

Robert Dale Stafford, 88, of Osage Beach, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Osage Beach Rehab and Health Care Center.

He was born on March 27, 1937, in Versailles, MO, a son of Lester Pete Stafford and Leonna Greible.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Bob spent his working years as a self-employed truck driver, a career that perfectly matched his independent spirit and strong work ethic.

Nothing brought Bob more joy than being behind the wheel of his truck. The open road was where he felt most at home, and trucking was more than a job to him-it was his passion and his way of life.

Survivors include two daughter's Regina Lawson-Cook (Sylvia) of Versailles, Cindy Stafford of Sedalia; and his dog Trixie who would always be by his side while trucking.

In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

There are no services scheduled and burial will take place at a later date at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Cole Camp. Arrangements are in the care of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
