Robert R. Allen

Robert Raymond Allen, age 67, of the Ivy Bend community near Stover, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 28, 2018, at his home.

He was born September 15, 1950 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska a son of Howard and Alice Shipley Allen.

Bob worked in commercial construction in Omaha, Nebraska for most of his life.  Following his retirement and at the encouragement of his wife, Bob and Jackie moved to Ivy Bend at the Lake of the Ozarks in 2005, where he could enjoy the beauty of the lake and fish every day off his dock.
He was also a lifelong Huskers and Raiders fan.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jackie, six children, Lynn and his wife Deb, Marlo and husband Felipe, Eric and wife Shannon, Kelly, Dwight and Emilee, one brother, Steve and wife Sherry, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Mike and two sisters, Mary and Edie.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated.  No services are planned at this time.
