She was born on July 21, 1958 in Jefferson City, MO a daughter of Charles Henry and Betty Rose (Elmlinger) Schuster.
Rita was a 1976 graduate of Tipton High School. She worked at Weber Shoes, Fasco Industries and most recently as a 911 Dispatcher for Moniteau County. Rita was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Rita's faith was strong and she spent many hours praying for all of her family and friends. She loved spending as much time as possible with all of her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include six siblings, Kathy York of Tipton, MO, Kenny Schuster (Candy) of Tipton, MO, Sherry Schoen (Linus) of St. Martins, MO, Charlotte Meyer (Alvin) of Tipton, MO, Linda Schuster (Bobbi Jo) of Tipton, MO, and Mark Schuster (Diane) of Kansas City, MO, 19 nieces and nephews, 41 great nieces and nephews and 8 great-great nieces and nephews, and many fur babies that she dearly loved.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Schuster and his wife Brooks; one brother-in-law, Chester York; one great-nephew, Dontae Medina and one great-niece, Macie Broyles.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 7:00 p.m. at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton, MO
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tipton, with Father Anthony Viviano, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Tipton.
Pallbearers will be Clay Blake, Brodie Schuster, Brad Schoen, Joey Meyer, Alex Rhode, Jaydon Fox, Brian Kirchhoff, and Reid Broyles.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Lucky Fin Project or Shriners Children's.
