Richard Leon Sprinkles

Richard Leon Sprinkles, 82, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of Syracuse Missouri went to be with the Lord January 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born August 20, 1936 to Raus Frank and Lorena Harms Sprinkles of Pettis County.

After graduating from Smith-Cotton High School in 1954, he enlisted in the US Army serving from 1955 until 1958. Upon leaving the service he enjoyed many jobs eventually settling into the career of union carpenter for over 50 years. He served many years as the business agent for his carpenter local.

Richard was a member of the Syracuse Baptist Church for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Frank Sprinkles; and son-in-law Mike Millsap.

Richard is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sherral of the home; daughters Debbie (Sprinkles) Littlefield of Las Vegas, Nevada and Tamela Bremer Millsap of Sedalia; sons William Lynol Bremer and his wife Delma of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Rick Sprinkles and his wife Loretta of Tipton, Greg Sprinkles of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for Richard Sprinkles will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Syracuse First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Syracuse City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, January 4th at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
