Richard LeRoy "Dick" Peck

Richard LeRoy “Dick” Peck, 84, of Tipton, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at Tipton Oak Manor.

He was born April 21, 1936 in Cortland, NY, a son of Vernon LeRoy and Clara Winifred (Towne) Peck. On June 29, 1958 in Central Square, NY, he married Alberta Jean Devendorf who survives of the home.

Dick was a member of the Tipton United Methodist Church. He worked as a mechanic at Embry Chevrolet and had served as a police officer in Tipton for 3 years. Dick enjoyed going camping and watching tv.

Survivors include his wife Alberta of 62 years, two adopted children, Michael Vernon Peck and Christine Renee Peck; one granddaughter, Shannon Napier and one brother, Vernon Robert Peck.

In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Ann Peck and one sister, Clara Albin.

Dick’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
