Ray Stevens

Raymond Duane “Ray” Stevens, 64, of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at his home.

He was born September 7, 1956 in Salt Lake City, UT, a son of Howard Duane and Mary Lou (Lewis) Stevens. On January 2, 1979 in Ogden, UT, he married Beverly Hanson who survives of the home.

Ray honorably served in the United States Army. He worked many years as a Journeyman Welder, Pipefitter, Iron Worker, Explosives Expert and a CDL truck driving instructor. Ray also enjoyed working as a mechanic and could fix anything he worked on. He loved riding motorcycles, working on electronics, fishing, camping, and cooking. Ray liked all water sports especially water skiing and cliff diving. He will be remembered for being a fun and adventurous man.

Survivors include his wife Beverly of 41 years; his mother, Mary Lou; three children, Angie Morse (Gerald) of Washington, Lacey Manzo (Jorge) of Virginia, Shane Stevens (Angel) of Jefferson City, MO; two brothers, Greg Stevens (Kelly) of Idaho, Blake Stevens of Texas; 7 grandchildren, Mariah Sennott, Raymond Webb, Jasmin Manzo, Haiden Webb, Ian Walters, Jaxon Stevens, and Ethan Stevens; one great-granddaughter, Melody McMillion.

Ray is preceded in death by his father and one grandson, TJ Lee Sennott.

Ray’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
