Randy Wayne Lutjen

Randy Wayne Lutjen, age 50, of Stover, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was born November 6, 1958, in Versailles, a son of Rufus William and Venetia Hunt Lutjen. On October 27, 1979, in Versailles, he was united in marriage to Linda J. Burnett and she survives at their home.
Randy was a landscaper for 30 years. He owned and operated Lutjen Landscaping, serving the central Missouri area.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering with his many projects. Randy also enjoyed the time he could spend with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Venetia Lutjen Mizer of Versailles; two sons, Randy Lutjen, Jr., and wife Coetta of Versailles and Brandon Lutjen and girlfriend, Angela Taylor of Stover; one daughter, Brittany Lutjen of Stover; one sister, Janice Knierim and husband Eckie of Stover; one half-sister, Rhonda Whittle and boyfriend Hans Anderson of Stover; stepbrothers, Rickey Day Weaver, Billy Lee Whittle, Vinson Jack Whittle and Robert Whittle, stepsisters, Rabecca Klindworth, Sharon Francis, Suzanne Donovan, Lela Jean Crabtree and Beverly Jill Edgar, grandchildren, Bobbie-Jo, James and Jasmine Lutjen and Destiny and Jayna Lutjen, also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Rufus W. Lutjen and his stepfather, Vinson Whittle.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, April 17, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Interment will be in the Chaney Chapel Cemetery south of Stover.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. Friday, April 17, at the funeral home.
