Randall A.L. "Randy" Newman

Randall A.L. “Randy” Newman, age 52, of Cole Camp, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, at his home.
He was born January 30, 1964, in Trenton, Missouri, a son of Gene H. and Betty Lou Lent Newman.
Randy was a 1982 graduate of Cole Camp High School.
He was self-employed as an over-the-road truck driver for many years.
Randy enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. He collected knives, pocket watches, and various antiques and enjoyed older vehicles. He would accompany his dad during deer season and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He loved animals, and for the past eight years was the proud owner of Sammy the Squirrel, who he had adopted as an orphaned baby.
Randy attended the Ozark Tabernacle Church in Cole Camp.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Newman of Stover, two daughters, Amanda Kaye Newman of Linn Creek, and Chelsey Jean Farr and husband Kenneth Eugene Farr of Stover; two brothers and sisters-in-law David and Villy Newman of Stover and Russell “Rusty” and Janice Newman of Warsaw; a grandson Travis Eugene Farr.
Randy was preceded in death by his father Gene Newman.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on June 27, 2016 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Johnny Medlock officiating. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Union Cemetery west of Stover.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on June 27 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Pleasant Union Cemetery.
