Phillip "Joey" Joseph Williams, 56, of Pilot Grove, MO, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Born on June 25, 1968, in Sedalia, MO, Joey was the son of Roy and Laverne (Green) Williams, who preceded him in death.
Joey dedicated twenty-four years to the Missouri Department of Transportation. Known for his great sense of humor, his laughter was contagious and brought joy to those around him. He had a passion for shooting pool and was an exceptional dancer. Joey was also a skilled driver, teaching his children how to drive with care and patience. A loyal friend and a devoted family man, he was fiercely protective of those he loved.
He is survived by his two children, Jessica Aldridge (Thomas) and Ethan Williams, both of Otterville; his three sisters, Debbie Obryan (Mark Roth) of Pilot Grove, Glenda Inman of Bunceton, and Tammy Williams of Bunceton; his four grandchildren, Nolan, Nathon, Hartlee, and Maverick; the mother of his children, Cynthia Roth; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Sasha Skaggs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pilot Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Cary Miller, Toby Hardey, Chad Vollrath, Kevin Miller, Joe Lorenz, and Randy Bader.
Honorary Pallbearers are Lori Vollrath, Dan Richerson, Ronnie Gerke, Jared Johnston.
