Peggy Ann (Dick) Combs

Peggy Ann Combs, age 86, of Tipton, MO, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

Peggy was born February 18, 1936, in Tipton, a daughter of William and Lillian (Newkirk) Dick, who preceded her in death.

She married the love of her life, Arlie Combs on September 24, 1955 at First Christian Church of Tipton.

Peggy loved cooking for her family and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed taking trips to Branson with the “Dirty Dozen”, some of her dearest friends. Peggy was a member of the First Christian Church of Tipton.

In addition to her husband, Arlie Combs, survivors include her daughter, Cheri Dix (David); four sons, Barry Combs (Marcia), Dale Combs (Lori), Randy Combs (Robyn), and Rex Combs; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings,  Raymond Dick, Roy Dick, Arleen Hofstetter, Betty Koerkenmeier, Mary Lou York, and William T. Dick, who died as an infant.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 30, 2022, at First Christian Church of Tipton with Peggy Richardson, officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Christian Church of Tipton.
