Pauline Amelia Beaman McNaughton

Pauline Amelia Beaman McNaughton, age 97, of Lohman, formerly of Boonville, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City.
She was born July 22, 1912, in West Boonville, near the Lamine River in Cooper County, the middle child of Arthur and Elizabeth Friedrich Moehle, both deceased. She married William Lee Beaman June 1, 1938 at the Evangelical and Reformed Church parsonage in Boonville. He was killed in action November 11, 1944 in France. She married F. Arnold McNaughton June 9, 1963 and he preceded her in death April 21, 1991.
Pauline worked at Lake City Ammunition Plant in Kansas City for many years.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Boonville. For the past 12 years she has resided in Lohman to be near her daughter and her family.
Pauline enjoyed being outside, especially working in her garden. She stayed busy with sewing, crocheting, doing crafts and piece quilting. She loved the time she could spend with her family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Melvin Stubinger of Lohman; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bill and Angie Stubinger of Russellville; a grandson-in-law, Chris Rackers of Jefferson City; two great grandchildren, Noah and Anna Stubinger, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pauline was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Moana Rackers, one brother, Herbert Moehle and one sister, Irene Knettle.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Sunday, August 23, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Lohman with Rev. Edward Merckel officiating. Interment will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. Sunday, August 23, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice.
