Patricia M. Lammers

Patricia Marie Lammers (Pat), age 86, of Blackwater passed away on June 27 at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove, MO.

Pat was born February 21, 1936 to Aloysius and Mary Felten in Clear Creek MO.  She attended St. John Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1954.

Pat married Kenny Lammers on November 16, 1957 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Creek.  Pat and Kenny were married for 64 years.  Kenny preceded her in death on June 4, 2022.

Pat worked at the ASCS office in Boonville MO until she started a family.  Pat was a dedicated mother first and foremost, raising six children.  Her six children were the focus of her life and she encouraged them in their various interests and endeavors.  She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.  In 1979, Pat and her husband began operating Rustic Acres restaurant at the Route K Junction and then the Country Store convenience store until 1995.

Pat will be known for her devotion to her family.  Pat embraced every moment she had with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Pat always looked forward to family gatherings and her children always asked her to bring some of her well-known dishes – especially her Thanksgiving dressing and macaroni salad.

Pat was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Her faith was very important to her.  She will be forever missed and Pat knew Christ as her Savior and has a home in heaven with him.

In addition to her husband, Kenny, she is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter (Deborah Lynn), son Ted, brother (Ralph Felten) and sister (Earlene McKenzie).

Pat treasured her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her children  -  Terri Stambaugh (Jon) of Wardsville; Jeff Lammers (Cindy) of Boonville; Lisa Young (Greg) of Pilot Grove; Dwain Lammers (Janna) of Pilot Grove and Jackie Stegner (Greg) of Blue Springs; and daughter-in-law, Cathy Lammers of Pilot Grove.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Courtney Leonard (Ben); Keyton Lammers (Kelsey); Kacie Reuter (Preston); Morgan Lammers; Trenton Young, Vanessa Lammers, Blake Stegner, Danae Lammers, Mikayla Stegner and Marci Lammers; six great-grandchildren and sister, Ellen McKenzie.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, with visitation to follow until 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, at the church, with Fr. Mark Smith officiating.

Casket bearers will be Greg Twenter, Keyton Lammers, Trenton Young, Blake Stegner, Ben Leonard and Preston Reuter.

Honorary bearers will be Pat’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. John’s Cemetery Association.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
