Patricia "Pat" Anne Hatton

Patricia Anne “Pat” Hatton, age 78, of Stover passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover. She was born April 17, 1939 in Kansas City to Harold Eugene and Marjorie Hanna Allen. She was married to Claude W. Hatton, who preceded her in death. Pat worked as a key punch operator for the state of Missouri. Her love of the theatre led her to interact with children and create the character “Storyella”. “Storyella” would read to the children and sometimes act out story time skits for them. She was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church- West Chapel in Stover. Pat was very active in praying for others. She prayed for many individuals, keeping lots of prayer books. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Susan Hatton of Cole Camp; one daughter, Debbie Schneidler of Independence; seven grandchildren, Lacy Wehmeyer and husband Thatcher, Sasha Paden and husband Ryan, Tiffany Schuck and Spencer Sears, Taylor Schuck, Nichole LeClair and husband Christopher, Taylor Fields, and Heather Fields; three great grandchildren, Karson Schuck and Nevaeh and Christian LeClair; one brother, Mike Allen of Cabool, Missouri; along with many other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Private services will be held at a later date.
