Omar O. Heidbreder

Omar O. Heidbreder, age 90, of Lohman, died Monday, September 29, 2008, at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
He was born January 5, 1918, in Lohman, a son of Henry and Louise Hutschreider Heidbreder. He was married November 28, 1948, in Lohman, to Ladine Linhardt who survives at the home.
Omar was an Army veteran, serving his country in World War II.
He worked for and later managed the Lohman Producers Exchange and was also an MFA Insurance and Bond Salesman.
He was a member of VFW Post 1003 in Jefferson City and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman.
Other survivors include one son, Charles "Chuck" Heidbreder and wife Jennie of St. James; one daughter, Brenda Heidbreder of Jefferson City; one brother, Cletus Heidbreder of Lohman; and two grandchildren, Jamie and Justin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Arthur, Wilburn, Darwin, Henry and Rudolph Heidbreder and an infant sister.
Graveside services, with military funeral honors, will be 3:30 P.M. Thursday, October 2, at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Lohman with Rev. Edward Merckel officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Thursday, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund or Memorial Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
