Natalie Lynn Stockstill: A Life of Love, Laughter, and Legacy
Natalie Lynn Stockstill, a vibrant soul whose bold spirit lit up every room, passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 63, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. Born on September 12, 1962, in the heart of Fort Scott, KS, to Roger Dale and Mary “Tootsie” (Trancoso) Heimsoth, Natalie lived a life as colorful as the Kansas City Chiefs jerseys she wore with unwavering pride. On August 12, 2020, in Gladstone, MO, she married her devoted partner, Randy Stockstill, who remains to carry her memory forward.
Natalie was a force of nature—bold, kind, and fiercely devoted to those she loved. Her Christian faith was the compass of her life, guiding her with grace and purpose. As a cosmetologist for much of her career, she didn’t just style hair; she lifted spirits, her salon chair a stage for laughter, stories, and transformations that left her clients glowing inside and out. Later, as a caregiver, her boundless compassion brought comfort to those in need, reflecting her belief that every soul deserved care and dignity.
A mother above all, Natalie poured her heart into raising her six children: Josh Gregg (with Cassidy Stanton) of Oak Grove, MO; Joe Gregg (with Jamie Young) of Lexington, MO; Jordan Mackie (married to Haley) of Lynn Haven, FL; Emma Padua (married to Gavin) of Munich, Germany; Isaac McConnell of Panama City, FL; and Avery McConnell of Panama City, FL. Her love for them was limitless, a fierce and joyful bond that defined her. She was also a doting grandmother to eight—Pryscilla Gregg, Porter Gregg, Parissa Gregg, Aaliyah Pridgen, Mason Gregg, Diver Mackie, Aaron McConnell, Simon McConnell, and Asher Stinson—whose antics brought her endless delight. Her legacy also lives on through her great-grandchild, William Reilly Stinson.
Natalie’s zest for life shone in her passions. A die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, she cheered with a voice that could rival Arrowhead Stadium’s roar. Music, especially the raw energy of Kid Rock, was her heartbeat, and she’d crank up the volume to dance with abandon. Her love for antique furniture revealed her eye for timeless beauty, each piece she cherished telling a story of craftsmanship and history. Quilting was her art, her nimble fingers stitching love into every blanket she gifted to family and friends. And always by her side were her two beloved dogs, loyal companions who matched her vibrant spirit and shared in every moment of her day.
She leaves behind her husband, Randy; her six children; her eight grandchildren; her great-grandchild; her brother, Mark Heimsoth of Stover; and her sister, Beverly Jackson (David) of Stover. Natalie was predeceased by her parents, Roger and Mary.
A visitation to celebrate Natalie’s life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. All who knew her are welcome to share stories of her laughter and love. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Stover Animal Rescue, honoring Natalie’s deep bond with her furry companions.
