Minnie Lena Jett, 85, of Stover, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

She was born on June 3, 1940, in Hughesville, Missouri, a daughter of William and Katie (Heismeyer) Monsees. On January 27, 1956, in Sedalia, Missouri, Minnie was united in marriage to Clifford Eugene Jett. To this union, three children were born. Clifford preceded her in death on February 27, 2005.

Minnie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for collecting and could often be found exploring antique stores in search of unique treasures. Her creativity shined through her many hobbies, including gardening, quilting, crafting, and making jewelry. Whether tending to her flowers or working on a handmade piece, Minnie took pride in everything she created.

Survivors include two children; Mark Jett (Sue) of Ivy Bend, Kelley Greenwell (William) of Warsaw, MO; three granddaughters, Katie Brown, Karen Greenwell, and Kristin Jett; four great-grandchildren, Whitley, Walker, Zac, and Caden.

In addition to both of her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray Jett; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and five siblings, Martin, Melvin, Leonard, Mary and Lillie.

A private service will be held at a later date at the Stover Cemetery.
