Mildred Lorene Colter

Mildred Lorene Colter, 84, of Kingdom City, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was one of 8 children born to Alfred Stephen and Julia Anne Phillips in New Bloomfield, Missouri.

On January 13, 1951 Mildred married Lowell Miles Colter and they raised their family together before his passing on September 11, 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mexico. Mildred enjoyed dancing and was an active participant in the Fulton Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lowell; infant sister Patty; brothers Web, Troy, Edward, and Norman Phillips.

Mildred is survived by her son Mark Alan Colter of Fulton; daughters Patricia Lynn Geilen and her husband Ron of Fulton and Sandra Sue Rodebaugh of Kingdom City; brother Don Phillips and his wife Mary Lou of Fulton; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Private family memorial services are planned.
