Milburn Herman Bockelman age 95, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born July 16, 1912, in Cole Camp, a son of Edward and Katherine Schnakenberg Bockelman. He married Sophia Jane Bates on March 25, 1946, in Versailles, and she preceded him in death April 12, 2004.
He was an Army veteran, serving his country during World War II.
Milburn retired from Pittsburg-Corning Corporation in Sedalia after many years of employment.
He enjoyed fishing and coon hunting.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Bockelman and wife Sharon of Cole Camp and Michael Bockelman and wife Melissa of Sedalia; one granddaughter Laura Stuckey, one great granddaughter, also other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gilbert and Leon Bockelman.
A Graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 10, at the Stover Cemetery in Stover with Rev. Dinzel Webb officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. - 12:20 P.M. Wednesday, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
