Michael Ruane Eason

Michael Ruane Eason, 71, of Tipton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born on September 10, 1946 to Albert Valentine and Millie Marie (Morrison) Eason in Poteet, Texas.

Mike lived the majority of his life in San Antonio, Texas. He attended and graduated Douglas MacArthur High School in 1964. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and served during the Viet Nam War with an honorable discharge in 1971. He was employed as a welder and mechanic. Mike enjoyed fishing, shrimping, riding Harleys, gardening, and spending time with family.

Surviving of the family is daughter Carrie (Eason) Irey, husband Garry of Tipton; son Michael Eason, wife Whitney (Nugent) Eason of League City, Texas. Grandchildren: Mackenzie and Hunter Neal, Lorann, Waverley, and Gunner Irey, Briley, Mia, and Brayden Eason. Great grandchildren: Quinlyn Neal and Bailey Sanders. One sister, Sandra Cielencki, husband Clarence ‘Red’ of San Antonio, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Albert V. ‘Jack’ Eason, Jr.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date in San Antonio, Texas.
