Maurice Leonard Oligschlaeger

Maurice L. Oligschlaeger, age 82, of Tipton, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at SSM St. Mary's in Jefferson City, MO.

He was born August 5, 1941, in St. Elizabeth, a son of Joseph and Catherine (Schanzmeyer) Oligschlaeger, who preceded him in death.

Maurice graduated from Tipton High School in 1959, and University of Missouri in 1967, with a Bachelor of Arts.

He was married September 7, 1968, to Mary Ann Lutz, who preceded him in death. 

Maurice served his country honorably in the Missouri Army National Guard.

He is survived by nephew, Joshua Lutz of Osage Beach; niece, Stephanie Barker of Tipton; two brothers, Daniel Oligschlaeger (Patricia) of Tipton and Joseph Oligschlaeger (Linda) of Jefferson City; one sister, Rose Mary Schuster (James) of Pilot Grove; godson Brian Oligschlaeger of Olathe, KS; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, August (Gus) Oligschlaeger, an infant sister, and goddaughter, Cara Oligschlaeger Haddad.

Visitation will take place Monday, July 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home Tipton, MO.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home Tipton, MO.

Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Tipton. 

Pallbearers are Matt Schuster, Brian Oligschlaeger, Neal Allison, Ben Schuster, Greg Schuster, and Andrew Schuster.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Lutz, Lee Wampler, Wyatt Lutz, Craig Lutz, Mark Allison, and Louis Wampler.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Tipton City Park.
