Mary Ann Coleman

Mary Ann Coleman, of Versailles, age 88 passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Golden Age Living Center.

She was born April 11, 1930 in Kansas City to John Edward and Mary Cross Dayton. In 1955, she was united in marriage to Eugene Coleman in Kansas City, who preceded her in death on February 2, 2006.

Mary Ann cleaned homes for various families around the area. She liked to read, and she enjoyed watching over her nieces and nephews. Her life’s priority was her immediate family, being able to spend time with them and care for them.

She is survived by one son, Michael Coleman and wife Debbie of Florida; two sisters, Shirley Brown and husband Ray and Patricia Stewart and companion Jim Culbertson all of Versailles; one grandson; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Along with her parents and her husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Weaver.

In keeping with her wishes she was cremated. A Memorial Reception will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, at the home of her nephew, Anthony Brown located at 16301 Sunrise Lane in Versailles.
