Marvin Cleo Watring

Marvin Cleo Watring, 85, of Tipton, Missouri passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was one of 7 sons born to Jack and Margaret Watring of Otterville, Missouri.

Marvin worked for many years at the Stride Rite factory in Tipton, Fuqua Homes in Boonville, and various other jobs. He was very handy around the home with many projects and possessed a great willingness to help others. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren especially playing checkers with them ("undefeated").

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; identical twin Melvin; brother Lloyd; infant twin brothers Clyde and Claude; brother Lester David Watring; and one deceased grandchild.

He is survived by daughters Jamie Su and her husband Stephen, Pam Morris and her husband Troy, Angie Tatam and her husband Robin, Rene' Yosel and her husband Phil; son Mark Watring and his wife Dana; 7 grandchildren; brother Paul Watring and his wife Wilma.

Gravesite services for Marvin Watring will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton. A visitation will be held from 12 to 12:45 PM on Tuesday at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton prior to the gravesite service.
