Martin A. Andrews

Martin Arvil Andrews, age 82, of Columbia, passed away on November 9, 2021 at Boone Hospital Center.

He was born August 16, 1939, in Fayette, Missouri, to Arvil A. and Helen (Yeager) Andrews, who preceded him in death.

Martin was married on June 22, 1968 to Letha Sweezer in Columbia. He worked for several years at the University of Missouri Hospital as a transport technician.

He is survived by his wife, Letha; four children—James Andrews of Georgia, John Andrews of Georgia, Julie Andrews of Columbia, and Joyce Andrews of Columbia; nine grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Kayla, Dawson, Taylor, Avery, Sarah, Lynn and Jasmine; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Meisenheimer of Pilot Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Friendship Church Cemetery near Hallsville.

Memorials are suggested to United Cerebral Palsy Association.
