Linda Sue (Pittrich) Mattern, 68, of St. Elizabeth, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Care Center.
She was born November 10, 1949, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Roy John and Lola Mae (Holzbierlein) Pittrich.
Linda graduated from Russellville High School and received her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Lincoln University.
She was married to Barry Mattern and together they had a son, Brent Mattern who proceeded her in death.
Linda worked for several years as an administrative assistant at the Missouri State Library.
She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson City. She enjoyed needle point, collectables, baking, fishing, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include three siblings, Judy (Larry) Thompson, Russellville; Janet Pittrich, Russellville; Keith (Sonja) Pittrich, Shawnee, KS; four nephews, Kevin (Angela) Miller, Lance (Melissa) Thompson, Wade Pittrich, Grant Pittrich; four great-nieces and nephews, Caitlyn Miller, Brycen Miller, Cameron Thompson and Addison Thompson; and an aunt, Billie Pittrich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son; uncle Don Pittrich, uncle and aunt Clyde and Ruthilene Holzbierlein, and a nephew, Ryan Thompson.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville with Rev. Scott Musselman officiating.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Russellville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1529 Southwest Blvd., Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to NAMI Missouri, 3405 W. Truman Blvd., Suite 102, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
