Linda Elaine Chambell

Linda Elaine Chambell, 75, formerly of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Parkside Manor in Columbia, Missouri. She was born in Farragut, Idaho to Lyndon Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Hadley.

Shortly after her birth she moved to Torrance, California where she lived her formative years graduating from the Torrance High School. Approximately 20 years ago she moved to Missouri to be near her children, first moving to Joplin and later to Pilot Grove. Linda was very active and involved in her church and derived her greatest joy from her grandchildren and her church family.

She is survived by twin daughters Holly Fredericks and Stacy Haynes of Joplin, Carolyn Korte and her husband David of Pilot Grove, Lisa Witt of Boonville; sister Tina Christ of Torrance, California; twin brothers Tom Kruth of Hemet, California and Jerry Kruth of Tucson, Arizona; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

As per Linda's wishes, cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held in Joplin, Missouri at a time to be determined later.
