Lee Ann Runkle

Lee Ann Runkle, age 42, of Jefferson City, died unexpectedly Monday, January 18, 2010, at her home.
She was born March 7, 1967, in Cole County, Missouri, a daughter of Herman and Wanda Johnston Mantle. Her mother survives in Jefferson City.
She attended Jefferson City High School. Lee Ann was a stay at home mom, busy raising her children and enjoying her grandchildren.
She enjoyed craft projects and had an extensive snowman collection. Lee Ann was a number one fan of Kenny Chesney.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Justin Runkle and wife Tessa of California; Marissa Runkle and boyfriend Noah Darnell of Columbia and Nichole Francisco of Centertown; one brother, Doug Mantle of California; three grandchildren, Caleb, Rylee and Carter Runkle; also nieces and nephews, Keegan and Quinton Mantle, Jaydon Gibler, Jacob, Jordan and Aaron Runkle and Alisha and Amber Runkle, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
The family will have a time of sharing and receiving friends from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, at the Scrivner-Morrow in Russellville. In keeping with her wishes, Lee Ann was cremated. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lee Ann Runkle grandchildren's education fund.
