E. LaVera "Boob" Myers, 96, passed away Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 at her home in Syracuse, MO.

Boob was born September 10, 1929 near Florence, MO where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of Charles C. Worthley & Bonnie L. Fowler.

On November 24, 1946 she married Clyde F. Myers in Ottawa, KS and they spent many years traveling through his employment with Phillips Oil Company. They had two children, Jerry & Bonnie Sue.

Boob worked at the Cargill Hatchery in Stover & Cole Camp, MO, and spent a great deal of her time farming, and helping out family members, and those within the community. Boob & Clyde served as MYF leaders of the Methodist Youth Fellowship, were members of the Florence United Methodist Church, and the Florence Lions Club.

Boob never met a stranger, and anyone who knew her loved her stories. She loved the outdoors, and traveled often throughout the years with her nieces. Known for her quick wit, and no-nonsense attitude, Boob was deeply loyal to her family, especially to her grandkids and great-grandkids and played a deeply influential role in their lives.

She is survived by son-in-law Wray Hibdon, grand-daughter Lauren Hibdon, and two grandsons Ryan Hibdon & Jeremy Myers. Three nieces Janet, Connie, & Caren, and two nephews. Three great-grandchildren Dayton, Hadleigh, & Briar.

No services are planned at this time, with a celebration of life to be planned at the Florence UMC at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Page-Dady Funeral Home.
