Laurie Ann Newberry

Laurie Ann Newberry, 50, of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Laurie was born on December 23, 1975, in De Soto, Missouri. She continued her education at Texas A&M University, where she earned a master’s degree in business. Laurie spent her professional career in the dental consulting field and owned and operated her own dental consulting business.

On October 16, 2017, at Top of the Rock in Branson, Missouri, she married Wayne Newberry, who survives of the home.

Laurie had a lifelong interest in horses. She enjoyed riding and became a certified horse trainer through Lyons Legacy. She spent time training reining horses and enjoyed the work and dedication that came with training and caring for them. Laurie was always willing to lend a helping hand to others who were having difficulties with their horses or working to train their own. She readily shared her knowledge and experience, whether by offering advice or working alongside them to help with their horse.

Laurie also enjoyed antiquing, especially searching for horse-related items. She had a particular interest in collecting horse bits and spurs and enjoyed finding unique pieces connected to her love of horses.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mount Olive cemetery near De Soto, MO.
