Larry Eugene Griffith

Larry "Smokey" Eugene Griffith, 65, of Blackwater, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Missouri.

Larry was born August 27, 1951 in Boonville, Missouri, a son of Aubrey G. Griffith and Mary Jane (Turley) Griffith.

He was a 1970 graduate of Boonville High School. He lived with his parents in Blackwater until their passing and remained there the rest of his life.

Larry enjoyed fishing and also was a collector of "various" items.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his half sister Katie Landon and two half brothers, Freddie and William Griffith.

He is survived by half sisters Beverly Nichols and her husband Kenneth of Boonville and Mary Sue Stufflebean of Mississippi; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, Missouri.

Gravesite service and burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Salt Fork Cemetery in Nelson, Missouri.
