Kelly Rentas

Kelly Ann (Nolan) Rentas, age 67, of Stover, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

She was born on November 4, 1957, in Manhattan, New York, to Peter and Mary (Chiodo) Nolan.

On August 25, 2010, Kelly was united in marriage to Victor Rentas, who preceded her in death on November 8, 2016.

Kelly dedicated over twenty years to her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for patients with compassion and devotion, often alongside her husband, Victor. She was a fierce advocate for those in her care, always ensuring their needs were met with kindness and dignity.

Outside of work, Kelly and Victor shared a love for salsa dancing and were known for their graceful moves on the dance floor. She also found joy in cooking for her family and spending time outdoors. Her love for nature blossomed into a passion for gardening-she had an incredible gift for bringing struggling plants back to life, earning a reputation for her green thumb.

Kelly is survived by her two daughters, Melissa Schwartz of Sunrise Beach and Elena Alpers and her wife Conner of Stover; three brothers, Patrick Nolan of Florida, Christopher Nolan and his wife Colleen of Florida, and Matthew Nolan of New Jersey; one sister, Mary Catherine Soyak of Florida; and six grandchildren: Danielle, Ashley, Dustin, Gabriel, Isabella, and Sawyer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Colleen Rentas, her parents, and two brothers, Timothy Nolan and Peter Nolan.

Kelly will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, lively energy, spunky, sassy personality and the love she poured into everything she did.

A celebration of Kelly's life will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Patio 52 in Stover.
