Katherine Elenora Meisenheimer, 67, of Pilot Grove, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her home.
She was born on December 12, 1957, in Moses Lake, WA, a daughter of Michael and Juanita (Meyer) Bauer. On June 26, 1976, in Boonville she married Darrell Meisenheimer who survives of the home.
Kathy was a 1976 graduate of Boonville High School and went on to have a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant, retiring from Winfrey CPA in Columbia.
Faith was an important part of Kathy’s life. She was an active member of Pilot Grove Community Church, where she faithfully served as treasurer. Her commitment to both her work and her church reflected her strong sense of responsibility and care for others.
Kathy’s creativity and talents shone brightest in her hobbies. She loved baking, and throughout the years she made countless birthday cakes from scratch for her children, each one a labor of love. Crafting days with her family were among her favorite times, where she shared her love for making things by hand. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and tending to her flowers, finding joy and peace in the beauty she nurtured.
Her greatest passion, however, was her family. Kathy cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed an opportunity to travel and watch her grandchildren’s ballgames, cheering them on with pride and encouragement. Her unwavering support and presence will be deeply missed.
Kathy’s life was a beautiful example of kindness, hard work, and devotion, and her memory will be lovingly carried forward in the hearts of her family and friends.
