Karen Burgess

Karen Ruth Cline Burgess, age 61, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1961, in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Aubrey Daniel and Mayme Evelyn (Osborn) Cline.

Karen loved to garden and watch birds. She was an excellent seamstress and an avid reader. "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of the Rings" were some of her favorites titles. She also loved her television programs, especially "The Walking Dead." One of the highlights of her life was getting to swim with the dolphins. She loved her family with all her heart and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Cline. She is survived by her children, Quentin Burgess of Jefferson City and Jessica Rombach (John) of Columbia; and two grandsons, Michael and Barret Rombach.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Versailles Cemetery.
