Judith "Judy" Fay Ball

Judith Fay "Judy" Ball, age 62, of Sedalia, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at her home.
She was born September 18, 1945, in Stover, a daughter of Henry "Vernon" and Jessie L. Miles Haynes. On October 25, 1965, at the Stover United Methodist Church, Judy was united in marriage to William W. "Bill" Ball and he survives at their home.
She was a graduate of Stover High School. Judy was employed as a secretary for the Morgan County R-II school district in Versailles for 20 years, first in the elementary office and retiring from the high school office.
After her retirement, Bill and Judy moved to Grand Canyon, Arizona, where they lived for five years, before moving to Grain Valley, Missouri to be near family. They later moved to Sedalia.
She was a member of the Versailles United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Nathan Ball of Versailles; four nieces, Janice Clark, Jessica Rau, Colleen "Charlie" Neth and Tonya Johnson, two nephews, David Paul Yarger and James McFatrich, a special great-nephew, Brock Rau, also other great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Barbara Yarger and Joyce Haynes and two brothers, Glen Haynes and George Haynes.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 7, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
