Juanita M. Dubbert-Mummert

Juanita Marie Dubbert-Mummert, 51, of Fortuna, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

She was born June 15, 1970, in Jefferson City, daughter of Sidney George and Emma Rose (Knipp) Dubbert.

On November 18, 2000, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Tipton, she was united in marriage to Stephen L. Mummert.

Juanita was a 1988 graduate of Tipton High School. She graduated from Missouri State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. In 2008, she graduated from University of Central Missouri with a Master of Science in Career and Technical Education.

Juanita was employed by MO State Employees Retirement System (MOSERS), where she was assistant benefits officer and educational supervisor. She was a member of the National Pension Education Association and attended the annual conferences of the Missouri Association of Public Employees Retirement System.

Juanita was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed traveling and will be remembered for her kindness and compassion.

Survivors include her husband, Steve, of the home; her mother, Emma Rose Dubbert, of Tipton; her brother, Steve Dubbert (Beckie), of Tipton; stepsons, Michael Mummert, of California, Jordan Mummert, of California, and Calen Mummert, of Jefferson City; her sister-in-law, Sherry Williams, of Tipton; nephews, Randy Williams (Kelli), Ethan Williams (Emily), Morgan Steele, Jonathan Dubbert, Christopher Dubbert and Andrew Dubbert; a great-niece, Rayleigh; and a great-nephew, Evis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Dubbert; her brother, Rusty Williams; her grandparents; and several uncles and aunts.

Prayers of the Rosary will be said at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, with visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. Masks will be required at the visitation and funeral.

Casket bearers will be Toby Niemeier, Craig Dillon, Kelly Kohler, Randy Williams, Ethan Williams and Jeff Knipp.

Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. Andrew’s Cemetery, or St. Andrew’s Altar Society.
