Johnathan Ray Matchett, born on July 15, 2005, passed away on December 17, 2025, surrounded by love. He was deeply cherished by all who knew him and will be remembered for his gentle spirit, kind heart, and strong work ethic.
Johnathan was the beloved son of Jamian and Shannon Matchett. He was a devoted brother to Ethan Matchett and his wife, Courtney Matchett, and to his sisters, Kaitlynn and Patricia Matchett. Johnathan took great pride in being an uncle and leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Joseph, Jaxson, Emmett, Sophia, Esme, Jace, Jayci, and Elliott, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Johnathan was a soft-spoken, compassionate soul who cared deeply for others. Family meant everything to him, and he showed his love through loyalty, quiet strength, and unwavering kindness. He was also known for his love of Mustang cars and the time he spent working on them.
Though his life was far too short, Johnathan’s impact will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.
Memorials may be given to the family.
